I once performed a feng-shui reading for a man living inside a dilapidated house built of blocks of hardened earth. This house was located inside a bamboo grove. "The people living in this house will definitely become very rich," I told the owner.
Skeptically he replied, "My grandfather lived in this house and died of starvation. My grandfather lived in this house and was stricken with poverty and illness. I am now living here and have not yet accomplished much with my life. Your words are quite hard to believe."
"The time has not yet come, but soon, you will definitely become wealthy," I replied.
"What is the basis for your prediction?" he asked.
"The front door of your house faces the flow of watercourse which flows from the northeast direction. This fits the feng-shui pattern known as 'ken mountain and ken water paying homage to ants and wasps.' You will definitely accumulate great wealth."
"Is there anything else?"
"Your house is built on earthen blocks and sits upon land of the fire element. As fire generates earth, this indicates that days of prosperity are near."
"Why was my family not prosperous before? Why must we wait till later?"
I quoted him the following verse:
Inner arms are turning away,
Outer arms look back.
Distant peaks also return to keep guard.
Distant protection indicates initial poverty,
Followed by later prosperity.
Soon after my feng-shui reading, a construction company took interest in a plot of land on the hillside owned by this owner. With the builder supplying the finances and the owner supplying the land, the dry field was transformed into a residential subdivision of "country style villas." Surprisingly, all the houses were immediately sold the instant they were offered on the market.
The owner of the earthen house made a large sum of money from that deal. With that money, he purchased more land and built more houses. Successive projects flourished, and the owner himself eventually became the president of a large construction company. He is currently a very wealthy man with large holdings in real estate. He rides in luxurious cars, smokes the best cigars, and dresses in elegant suits.
Yet every night before retiring, his chauffeur secretly drives him back to his dilapidated house in the bamboo grove to sleep. With the exception of minor interior improvements, he did not dare to alter anything in his earthen house. He firmly believes that this house has brought him wealth and prosperity.
Why was the prosperity preceded by initial impoverishment?
Inner arms turning away - Instead of cradling the house, landforms to the right and left of the house are turned away at an angle indicating initial poverty.
Outer arms looking back - Looking out the front door, mountainous landforms in the distance to the left and right, however, turn back to look after the house indicating future prosperity.
Distant peaks returning to keep guard - The mountain peaks in the far distance are turned around to look after and protect the house.
This feng-shui arrangement allowed me to boldly make my predictions.
In formulating my analysis, I also take five elements in consideration. I first determine the guarding element of the owner, as each individual is born under the guardianship of one of the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, or earth. The land on which the house sits is then is also classified as metal, wood, water, fire, or earth. With this knowledge of the nourishing and destructive cycles of the five elements, one can evaluate the combined effects of the elements and discern whether or not they indicate prosperity.
Also, as soon as I enter a house, I locate the "money-reserve spot." I employ special methods to enhance the money-reserve spot's ability to gather chi and wealth.
Here is a verse on "how to get rich":
Prosperous chi entering the living room,
Fills the treasures.
Remember to keep the evergreens green,
And the household will certainly bloom and blossom.
A good pattern is for a residential home to be built with its back facing the northeast (ken) direction. From the house, one should see water coming from the southwest (shen) direction. Living under such circumstances, one will become rich so rapidly that one's treasury will quickly fill with gold and silver. There will be such great wealth knocking at one's door that one will not be able to turn away even if one wanted to.
The formulas for locating houses that produce great wealth cannot be bought with money. The mere ability to determine whether a house is auspicious is not enough; geomancers who cannot also help owners generate wealth and fortune are not true professionals.
I know from my many years of study and practice in the art of geomancy that feng-shui is a very profound subject. It is unfortunate that many are easily taken in by eloquent feng-shui practitioners who are without much efficacy. Such practitioners have, indeed, discredited the art of geomancy.
The secret formulas to houses producing great wealth are indeed priceless!
